well...

the past few days have been good for me. i have been getting allot done, but still need to fill in those gaps in time. the other day i was working on a promo for my comic, and this is what i came up with...

nothing fancy, and just practice with layering really; still its fun to actually start fleshing out my story.

been doing a lot of fan stuff lately... trying to get better at using my tablet and photoshop, so none of these are that great, but hey, you gotta crawl before you can crawl before you can walk, right?

Freaky

One of my favorite cartoons of all time is freakazoid; everything about that show is great, from the random humor, the utterly sly innuendos, and the great traditional animation: Steven Spielberg really shot a hole in one with this bit. if you don't know it, check it out!

its been awhile,

but i still live. things have been hectic in my life so i am not having a whole lot of time to post crap. just so i can say that i did i am gonna share one of my favorite character designers... i present the master, Steven E. Gordon. so many of his designs are so well executed and fun that i have a hard time not being envious of his talent. His resume is impressive as well, including works such as 'X-Men Evolution', Adam Sandlers 'Eight Crazy Nights', Shrek 2, and Madagascar... the list goes on and on. here are a few examples of his work....

Its

hard to hear of death. Even if you were not close to the person, the fact that just a little while ago you were talking, smiling, and laughing with them, its.... stunning. its hard to know how to respond, how to console the family. "give them time" some say, "go comfort them" say others. "they need to be left alone" or "the more people they are with, the better". i don't know at this point, but i do know that life does not last forever. What we choose to do with the time given to us does matter, so let us not be wasteful.

today

i got in an accident with my friend. it was nothing too bad, but still shocking. then woman who hit us was a real jerk about the whole thing too. oh well, such is life.

anyway, here i am reveling in the glory of new music while attempting to organize the throw-up of a mess on my laptop's hard drive. needless to say, i need to organize better.

First

post of 2010. well, here we are in a brand new year; i started things off right by seeing James Cameron's Avatar. it was epic and and a great first film of the year, take a looksie:
